Revie Lake Announces AimShop Partnership as Data Becomes a Key Part of His Racing Programme

Revie Lake is delighted to announce the continuation of his partnership with AimShop, bringing specialist motorsport data and acquisition technology into his 2026 British GT programme.
For a driver trying to extract the maximum performance from a racing car, speed is only part of the equation.

Racing is measured in data
AimShop describes itself as the official retailer for Aim Technologies, supplying motorsport data-acquisition equipment to racing teams, professional kart racers and motorcycle competitors around the world. Its range covers everything from dashboards and lap timers to cameras, sensors, data loggers and power-management equipment.
For Revie, that technology provides another way of understanding his performance.
Every lap contains information.
Where braking begins.
How quickly the car slows.
Throttle application.
Corner speed.
Acceleration.
Lap-time differences.
The more effectively a driver can understand those details, the more effectively they can work with engineers to improve.
From simulation to real-world data
Data has particular relevance to Revie's unusual route into motorsport.
Before entering real-world racing, Revie spent years developing his driving skills through simulation.
That gave him an extensive understanding of circuits and racecraft before he had accumulated significant physical racing experience.
His first real season came in Ginetta Junior in 2025 before he stepped into British GT for 2026.
Now the challenge is taking that virtual experience and combining it with real-world telemetry and engineering feedback.

Modern motorsport is a constant search for marginal gains.
A driver may feel that a corner was faster, but the data can show whether the car actually carried more speed.

The company published an article in 2024 announcing his move into Ginetta Junior with Elite Motorsport, highlighting his unusual background of limited physical racing experience but extensive simulator mileage.
Now the partnership continues into a much bigger chapter.
Revie is no longer preparing for his first-ever race.
He is racing a McLaren Artura GT4 in one of Britain's premier championships.
And the margins are getting smaller.
The next step
Revie's 2026 season has already provided evidence of his developing pace.
At Spa-Francorchamps, the McLaren was fastest in GT4 during opening practice.
At Snetterton, Revie qualified third in GT4 for Race 1.
Those performances show what the young driver can achieve when everything comes together.
The next objective is consistency.
Data will be an important part of that process.
"Having the right data and being able to understand it is such an important part of racing now," says Revie. "AimShop have supported me since I first started racing cars, so I'm really pleased to continue working with them as I move into GT racing."
